Family and Youth
Success Program
The Family and Youth Success (FAYS) program offers counseling services to youth under 17 in Galveston, Liberty, and Chambers Counties. FSC aims to strengthen families and aid youth in overcoming challenges for healthy development and success. Our FAYS services promote communication and cooperation to enhance family life, and are available in our offices, schools, and community-based settings. Most youth receive services during the school year, and qualifying families can access services for free thanks to funding from the State of Texas.
Rebuild Texas, in an effort to aid those affected by Hurricane Harvey, provided funding to Dickinson School-Based Services. This funding has enabled the organization to offer support to both youth and families dealing with trauma and loss. Family counseling services are available at various Dickinson ISD campuses thanks to the FSC clinicians who have been stationed there. Additionally, FSC has clinicians available on the campuses of Friendswood and Galveston ISD as well as Odyssey Academy.
